King Khalid University Announces the End of the First Admission Stage
King Khalid University represented by the Deanship of Admissions and Registration announced the end of the first admission stage for the 1439/1440 AH academic year, where 7000 students with an average percentage above 80% were admitted.
Dr. Abdulmohsen Algarni, Dean of Admissions, explained that the approval of applicant preferences was adapted to 6500 students, through the Southern Region Universities Admissions Page. Students were admitted through a streamlined process that included the issuance of university identification numbers.
Dean Algarni confirmed that the overall high school student percentages for this academic year are considered much higher than those of previous years, which has resulted in maximum capacity admittance for many specializations.
It is worth mentioning, that two admission stages are still in progress and the acceptance will depend on the field required and available seats for each major, noting that the stage two admission results will be announced on the 18th of Dhu'l-Qi'dah. The final stage results will be announced on the 22nd of Dhu'l-Qi'dah.
